Autism Support for Children and Families
Whole-child, integrative care with Lisa Wada, ND, FMAPS, serving Issaquah, Bellevue, Sammamish, Seattle, and families across Washington.
Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference, not something to cure. NaturoMedica supports autistic children and their families with thoughtful, individualized care for co-occurring concerns that can affect daily health and quality of life.
Neurodiversity-affirming integrative care
Our goal is not to change who a child is. We listen to the child and family, recognize individual strengths, and focus on health priorities identified together. Care complements rather than replaces pediatric, developmental, behavioral, therapeutic, and educational support.
Concerns families may bring to us
- Sleep difficulties and irregular sleep patterns
- Digestive symptoms, feeding challenges, or limited diets
- Anxiety, mood, attention, and emotional regulation concerns
- Sensory experiences affecting comfort or daily routines
- Questions about nutrition and overall health
A careful, individualized process
There is no single autism protocol and no guaranteed outcome. Visits begin with a detailed history and the family's priorities. Dr. Wada explains the reasoning behind recommendations, identifies a manageable place to begin, and revisits the plan as needs change.
